Judy Ann (Gilchrist) Bowen, 76, of Cicero, Indiana. Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother passed away on 9/19/17 after her courageous battle with lung cancer.
She is survived by her Husband of 55 years, Charles Bowen, and their three children, Jackie (Bowen) Roeder (Bill), Doug Bowen (Michele) and Tabatha (Bowen) Miller (Matt).
She was born the oldest of five children in Indianapolis. She is survived by Charles (Buddy) Gilchrist, Charlene (Harrell) Bowman (Russell), and Becky (Harrell) Leaver (Jimmy), and Richard (Dickie) Harrell.
Judy also loved her Grandchildren Justin Bowen, Haley Roeder, Brandon Roeder, and Kirstin Miller (Nate) and Great-grandchild Brayden Berling.
She was proceeded in death by her Mother Violet (Vi) Margaret Harrell and Father Richard Harrell.
Judy and Chuck owned several restaurants throughout their lives, until they decided to retire to Bunnell Florida. Judy loved to ride around Cicero on her golf cart with her dogs Butter and Bella. She also loved playing Bingo on Friday nights at the American legion in Cicero and going to the Casino and playing the lottery. She was a member of Cicero Friends of the Park. She loved splitting her time between her winter home in Bunnell, Florida and her summer home in Cicero Indiana.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 6th at the Cicero Red Bridge Park Community Center Building from 5:00 – 9:00PM. The address is 697 W. Jackson St, Cicero, In 46034
